NASA obligated $188.9M across three aerospace contractors on 1 October 2026

Federal spending records show single day contract payments were posted to SpaceX, Lockheed Martin and Odyssey Space Research.

NASA posted three separate contract obligations on 1 October 2026, totalling just over $188.9M across three aerospace firms. Federal spending data shows the largest single obligation that day was $174M to Space Exploration Technologies Corp.[3] Lockheed Martin received $11M[1], while Odyssey Space Research was awarded $3.94M[2]. All three obligations were applied against existing active awards. Total obligations to date under the respective contracts stand at $3.75B for Lockheed Martin, $3.23B for SpaceX and $46.7M for Odyssey.
