NASA obligated $141.1M across four space vendors on 2 October 2026

Four separate contract obligations were posted by the agency on the same day, led by a $96.9M award to Northrop Grumman.

NASA posted four separate contract obligations totalling $141.1M on 2 October 2026. Federal spending data shows the largest single obligation that day was $96.9M to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation [1]. Additional obligations included $33.3M to Amentum Spaceport LLC [3], $9.15M to Space Exploration Technologies Corp. [4], and $1.79M to Chenega Global Protection, LLC [2]. All four entries were drawn against existing active awards. Total obligations to date on those awards stand at $1.5B for Northrop Grumman, $662M for Amentum, $125M for SpaceX and $7.86M for Chenega.
