Thomas Pesquet, the European astronaut with the most accumulated time in orbit, will fly his third mission to the International Space Station in 2027 aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule launched by a Falcon 9 rocket, he announced at the Grand Palais space summit in Paris on September 12, 2026.^[1] The mission is sponsored by the Long Beach, California-based private company Vast.^[1]
