ESA and Pokémon launch World Space Week 2026 collaboration

The European Space Agency and The Pokémon Company International announced an official partnership for World Space Week, set for 4 to 10 October 2026

The European Space Agency and The Pokémon Company International have launched an official collaboration for World Space Week 2026, which runs from 4 to 10 October.[3] Themed exhibition panels blend real scientific content with imaginative visual storytelling, letting visitors explore Europe's space activities, how missions are launched, and how astronauts are supported aboard the International Space Station.[1] A Pikachu plush traveled to the station during ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot's mission, spending 67 days in orbit from 11 April to 17 June 2026 and completing roughly 1,040 orbits.[2]
