The Gemini North telescope has captured the most detailed existing imagery of the Pa 30 supernova remnant.[^1]

The observatory, located on Maunakea, Hawaiʻi, recorded the object which sits approximately 7500 light-years from Earth. The resulting imagery shows structure that appears to resemble a cosmic fireworks display.[^2]

Astrophysicist Ilaria Caiazzo stated that individual gas knots observed in Pa 30 are large enough to contain the planetary region of the Solar System roughly ten times over.[^3]
