Photometry on the 1.3 m telescope at MDM observatory logged the luminous nova AT2026aabo in M31 brightening in the Hs band from 17.39 mag on UT 2026-09-11 to 16.71 mag on UT 2026-09-16, a gain of 0.68 magnitude over five days. [2] The measurements came from MIRAGE, a new robotic YJHs InGaAs imager on the MDM 1.3 m telescope that began routine operations in March 2026. [3] Additional photometric observations were made with the 60 cm Cassegrain telescope at the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Warsaw in Ostrowik. [5]
