Webb telescope finds 27 new objects beyond Neptune in deepest survey yet

The James Webb Space Telescope detected 27 previously unknown Trans-Neptunian Objects in a small patch of sky, some as small as six miles across, in the most sensitive study of these icy worlds to date.

Astronomers using NASA's James Webb Space Telescope have identified 27 new Trans-Neptunian Objects - small icy bodies orbiting beyond Neptune - in a small patch of sky, some only about six miles wide, in the most sensitive study of such worlds to date.[1]
