Astronauts assigned to NASA's SpaceX Crew-13 mission arrived at Kennedy Space Center on Saturday to prepare for launch.^[1] Liftoff is scheduled for Thursday from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. NASA astronaut Jessica Watkins will command the spacecraft. Joshua Kutryk of the Canadian Space Agency will serve as a mission specialist.^{[2] [3] [5]} The crew will conduct scientific investigations and evaluate technology for future Moon and Mars exploration missions.^[4] Reid Wiseman commanded the Artemis II mission, after previously spending 165 days aboard the International Space Station. Wiseman and Victor Glover were two of the four crew members on that circumlunar flight.^{[6] [7]}
