Peru opens student call for Kennedy Space Center visit

The STEM Huarmis Space program launched its 2026 national call for Peruvian students to visit NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

The STEM Huarmis Space program opened its 2026 national call for Peruvian students to visit the Kennedy Space Center of NASA, La República.pe reported on Sept 22.[1] Separately, the UK National Space Operations Centre (NSpOC) reported in its August 2026 monthly report that the number of objects monitored re-entering Earth's atmosphere fell 13% from July, with 54 objects re-entering: 47 satellites, 6 rocket bodies, and 1 piece of debris.[2]
