A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched at 6:33 am ET on 13 October 2026 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, carrying cargo bound for the International Space Station.[1] This was SpaceX's 35th commercial resupply mission for NASA, flying a Dragon cargo ship. The rocket departed from Space Launch Complex 40 at the station.[2] [3] Liftoff occurred 48 minutes before local sunrise. This timing produced the colourful sky effect only visible from Earth during dusk and dawn launches.[4] A second Falcon 9 launch is scheduled for the same pad on Monday, 19 October.[5]
