The 2026 International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad has concluded in Hanoi, Vietnam. 312 students from 64 countries and territories took part in the event.[1] This was the 19th running of the international olympiad. Alexandru-Ioan Jicu, Robert-Cristian Amariei and Teodor Bichir each won a gold medal at the competition.[2][3][4]
