MOONS spectrograph makes first observations at Very Large Telescope

The European Southern Observatory announced on September 3, 2026, that the Multi-Object Optical and Near-infrared Spectrograph (MOONS) successfully made its first observations at the Very Large Telescope in Cerro Paranal, Chile.
