Three GitHub repositories each added stars on Sept. 22, 2026, and the day's largest climb was on browser-use/jev-ultrafast, a Python web agent described as the fastest and cheapest such agent available, which rose 2,736 stars to 17,842 from 15,106 on Sept. 21, according to GitHub^[2]. mizorewww/laya-mlx, a Python native MLX runtime for Laya typed decision models, reached 5,242 stars from 3,315 the previous day, a gain of 1,927^[3]. tamaratran/fast-jev-compaction, a TypeScript Claude Code plugin, rose 379 stars, to 6,265 from 5,886^[1]. By this paper's arithmetic, the three repositories together added 5,042 stars in the day, a combined move that exceeds the entire count laya-mlx carried a day earlier.
