Fifty high school students across Buenos Aires have completed construction of scale rockets and programmed their flight payloads ahead of a planned launch [^1].

The launch will take place 23 October. The rockets are designed to reach approximately 150 metres altitude [^3]. Each carries a CanSat, a small computer coded by the students to record pressure, inclination and acceleration data during flight. Teams will compare the logged flight data against their pre-launch calculations.

A participant from Colegio Mariano Moreno remarked that cross-team work between the young rocket builders had been the most notable part of the project [^2].
